Hi there,
I just watched the video and I REALLY liked it. Considering you're only playing for a year, you must have practice hard to get where you are today. You asked for some feedback, so here are a couple of observations I like to share:
- It seems that you have a really good handle on the individual notes, they all fit. I think what your could try to incorporate is:
1. Add a few slides. Instead playing note A and then note B one after the other (granted their on the same string), play note A and then slide into note B.
2. Add a little bit of vibrato on the 'resting notes'. So basically on the notes that you hold longer, add a bit of vibrato. There's no need to overdo that, but I think this tune offers some good opportunities here and there.
3. You can think about adding a few chords. Hold a chord for a couple of measures and then move back to your notes.
Again, I think you did a great job and I wish best of luck with the exam! Nice job!
