Hi everybody
Here is an blues improvisation with a few BB King licks over a backing track.

This really the first time mixing minor & major pentatonic scales in my playing over a backing with major chords.
The few licks I used is from the beginning of the song " My love is Down" from BB Kings latest record "One Kind Favor".

I'm on this one. good morning. nothing like the blues well played to start my four day holiday.
well, monday is a holiday (Martin Luther King), today just starts my weekend. not much will happen at work on tuesday, because we're all celebrating the inauguration of our new president.
regardless, the blues does not make me sad. your guitar sounds great.
I like the combination of bends and single string walk downs. that's good old stuff.
thanks Kalle in Sweden for my morning blues cup of coffee. 8)
Great job Kalle, B.B. would be proud! 8)

Some great phrasing there, Kalle. 8)
I really enjoyed it.

Thanks for the nice critics.
BB´s latest record "One Kind Favor" is one of his best records and it´s really good for learning BB licks.
Many of the songs are classic 12 bar/3 chord blues, but in different keys.
Hi is not playing fast , many the licks are not long or difficult and you can hear how hi use them over a chord progression.
But B.B. King is always B.B. King, you can copy his licks, but playing like B.B. King is a complete different thing....

PS For bass players the songs in this record are perfect for blues bass training
