Wow this song is really hard to play and sing at the same time, that rapid fire strumming is insane. It's kind of sloppy, I only practiced it a bit today....kind of thought that it should be uploaded today with all the Beatles stuff going on.

that chord progression. C E F G is so close to the classic C Am F G ( Heart and Soul, ie.) I have to think that Lennon intentionally changed the Am to E. how that simple change Lennon's makes such a different song. my ears are so conditioned to hearing the Am the E stands out and actually sounds weird. that's just me.

I didn't even think about the chord progression being a Lennon thing. But I bet doughnuts to dollars Barenaked Ladies did. They don't do anything without a reason, even in their comedy songs.
