I wrote this bluesy little song about using a guitar to find freedom (though not in the conventional way)...

[in this video there aren't the actual takes of the song-recording process]
(I'm sorry cause I couldn't mix it properly because of a damaged Audacity file and I had problems with VideoPad editor too...)
(forgive my poor singing)

(gear: my custom strat (Japanese Fender body [still had the stock pickups when I recorded this one] with a handcrafted mahogany neck [with a ebony keyboard with 12" radius]), my old beloved french/japanese acoustic (Trameleuc AH10EC), a 15w Marshall MG15DFX, a cheap bass guitar and a Hohner Marine Band A harmonica)

[Recorded and edited with a Samson CO1U USB microphone, Audacity, a Omnia I8910 HD cellphone and VideoPad Video Editor (with whom I had evident problems with syncing)]

Lyrics:

Got me some time to define
what is "me" what is mine,
probed the depths of my mind,
read some books
sages say life's just pain,
me, I'll take the next train

RIT: to go somewhere,
not to find myself
(not) for catharsis purposes.
Gonna bring my guitar
not to purify my soul,
just to delete dermatoglyphics with those calluses.

Now I've got rock fingertips,
leave no more fingerprints,
I've seen paupers peasants princes kings
but all I care about heavier strings

RIT.

These 12's scraped away my identity,
now I don't want, I'm not me.
Calluses helped me write another song about being free
Now I just need to play my blues off of me

[Chords in the verse are those E, C#, B, A 7-chords (for example the A chord is 545x5x), the other part is B, G#m, F#m(7)]

ENJOY and PLEASE LEAVE ME YOUR OPINION! :note1:

Cool! Just goes to show you that you don't need expensive gear to get results.

grow big, wear glasses if you need 'em."

That's pretty cool man. Keep pluggin and someday you may be a star... or even better... have some fun. But it looks like you already are.
