Hey guys,
My band, World Racketeering Squad, has just finished recording a new song, "Electromagnetic Pulse". This one has been going over terrific at live shows, in fact at our last concert we were compelled by audience requests to play it *again* at the end of the night. That was fun--we played through the song normally, and then instead of ending it, the drummer and bassist and I were looking at each other, and we ripped back into an instrumental coda where I got to rock out some more. The audience seemed to enjoy it a lot.
Here's the mp3 if you'd like to listen:

It was recorded at the home studio of our drummer, Bruce. We'll probably be doing some more mixing on it in the future.
Enjoy! Any feedback would be welcome.

pretty cool. for me I liked the second half far more than the first. it had more dynamics and was more interesting.
Thanks, dogbite! One initial concern was that the song definitely is fairly repetitive, especially in the first half. But we dig the groove! Heh.

that is what I meant. the first part is repetitive. not a bad thing, don't misunderstand. the second half was more interesting because it had all those layers, spaces, etc. it's a good song and you guys are tight. 8)
