Hi all,

Back in mid-January, Taso popped up on the on-line jams forum and wanted to participate in a jam so I said I'd host one. This jam is a bit different because there are short and long sections (Taso and Ignar got to stretch out a bit)... and one of our illustrious GuitarNoise moderators graced us with his participation 8). Enjoy

The Players:

0:00 - 0:48 - Boogie
0:48 - 2:08 - Taso
2:08 - 2:48 - Dhodge
2:48 - 4:08 - Ignar
4:08 - end - Smokindog

And Taso said "Let us make more blues"
And it was so. And it was good.
Well done, gentlemen.
Thank you for pulling that together, Boogie.

It's the rock that gives the stream its music . . . and the stream that gives the rock its roll.

Cool.

Smokingdog participates in a lot of these jams! Seriously, this whole "online jams page" is the result of (a) the ol' Dog's initial idea and willingness to particpate and help others get going and (b) the generosity and community spirit of eveyone who hosts and participates in the jams.

It was a fun time and I hope that I can both make more time to participate and to hopefully get a lot better at them!

And, as Taso says, much thanks to Boogie for hosting (not to mention for his walking me through the steps yet again!).

Peace

nice work everybody. I really enjoy hearing a note vibrato'ed as you all wonderfully did. I can picture your finger working that string into the fretboard. cool.
Taso. you play really well. you have to change your avatar pic because I can't put Kramer together with your playing.I can't see Kramer playing that well for some reason.

David & Smokindog, I completely forgot that Smokindog was a moderator  . I thought he was one of us regular folks.. Just teasing.

You are absolutely right about the community spirit aspect. I learn about myself and my playing... as well as learning from the others in these jams.

In any case, I had fun, it turned out great... and It never ceases to amaze me how well these jams come together when you consider that we are geographically far away from each. On the other hand, the internet, brings our little community together.

Thanks dogbite, I'd change but I think cnev would be upset that he couldn't call me 'babs' anymore.

Hey, David and I are about as regular as it gets  Great job everyone :!: We started doing The forum jams about 4 years ago. I have learned a lot from them. I have done more than a few collaborations with GN members over the last few years and have more in the works. In my opinion, the internet has taken us back 100 years in that before the advent of recorded music folks just played on the front porch or in the parlor. Now we can do the some thing , only with folks from around the world. Now how cool is that 8)
