Sorry, I didn't get the memo.
I thought I could get critique on the composition itself as well.
I didn't just "plug" my latest vid. "Guitar"noise forum. So I purely wanted some feedback on my "guitar" writing. It's my song and it's incomplete. I wanted some help of more experienced musicians.
No offense at all, but lyrics is a story that a writer wants to tell, in however manner that he/she wants to express. I don't believe in people telling a songwriter whether or not the story that they want to tell is "good" or not.
On the other hand, music, you can criticize. It's in the similar vein as it can be expressed in whatever ways but there are some things you can get feedbacks to express it better: arrangement, instrument balance, dynamic, note choices, etc. Something that experienced people can help a relatively not so experienced people so that they have a better& more effective way to express themselves.
But I don't believe someone can tell if your story is good or bad. It's simply their stories. There's just one's own way of telling them but you can't judge if the quality of the story.

So, is there a place I can get critique on the music on this forum?

I apologize if I sound harsh. No offese intended. I got this post "approved." Why approve it when it's not adequate?

The Songwriting club is for critique on the lyrics. Your original post doesn't contravene any rules of the Forum so it was easy enough to approve, but if you're after critique on the music then I'll move the topic to Hear Here which is a more appropriate place for it.
