Another cover by me this time. It's pretty stiff and there's some muted notes but I've never really practiced this one. I think it's Larry Carleton who wrote this one. Not really sure. Learned it from a Guitar Player of past.

And as you might have guessed, I'm testing out another new piece of gear which I uh..."inherited". Working in marketing has it's benefits. :P

That's great. As the old saying goes;
"I'd pay money to listen to that".

a little stiff, and a few muted notes, I'd agree with you there, but nevertheless, still sounds beautiful. Would love to hear you play it when you've got it all ironed out and practiced :) Never heard the song before, thanks for sharing Hue.

P.S. Good to see you're still around here Hue, has your GN mini-break ended?

Mini-break? Well I've got some things to deal with. Arthritis isn't helping me out too much but I have to live with it. Too young for this stuff. :roll:

Thanks though. One day I may take the time to actually practice it. If I don't get too lazy in the mean time. :P

BTW I updated the song. Fiddled with the eq. Lost a good portion of the body of the tone but there was an offending tone there that I just couldn't live with. I messed it up in the recording. I wasn't paying attention to what I was doing. Typical lazy self. Just wanted a quick run through. I'll try and do better next time.

Hueseph, that sounds really good! There is a couple of problems, one around 20", the other is some seconds later, when plays the second time the intro. As you said it can be for the lack of practice of the piece, I was reading the tablature and some parts are challenging. But it sounds great!

BTW I didn't know Larry Carlton. His web site http://www.larrycarlton.net/ contains some tablatures and instructional videos. His music has been a great discovering. I did read he was in Spain this week, in a jazz festival, what a pity! "Her favorite song" is very beautiful. Now I'm listening some of his music at MySpace.

Thanks a lot!

Thanks Nuno. If you had a chance to hear him play this one, you may have noticed that I fudge this in a few spots. I'm playing by memory and my memory isn't all that good. (especially around the eithgties and nineties) :lol:

Hue, if that was from memory with just alittle practice, man, I'll bet you'd nail that song if you put your mind to it! 8) I really like the tone you got going too. Good stuff! :D

Thanks Dan. Actually there's a whole section in there that I'm completely unsure of. It may be completely wrong. :? I just learned to fake it this way.
