I bought one of these a couple of months ago and really like it. The factory presets aren't worth much, so I've gone through and created a lot of my own. I was playing around with it tonight and figured I would record some of the possible sounds this thing will make. The track is rough, I only did 1 or 2 takes of each part and there are a couple of clicks in there from the editing. Also, even though I'm playing in A the entire time, it's not a "song", so the parts don't really go together.

All sounds were recorded with the same guitar (Epiphone Special II) and no processing except for the Line6 Floor Pod. Mixer settings were kept the same and with no EQ and no post-processing was done to individual tracks, with the exception of the 2nd Rhythm track. I lowered the volume just a bit because the preset on my Pod was a little louder than the preset I used for the wah-wah.

Here are the parts with the amp model and effects used. In parenthesis is what I named the preset (or what Line6 called it on the factory presets).

Intro (0:00): Fender Blackface w/ Flanger (Clean Flange)
Intro Solo (0:30): Vox AC30 w/ slight delay (Dirty Blues)
1st Rhythm (1:02): Vox AC30 w/ Reverb (Fab 60's)
Solo (1:20): Budda Twinmaster w/ Reverb (Rockabilly)
2nd Rhythm (1:44): Marshall Plexi w/ Reverb (Blues Rock)
Wah Solo (1:44): Fuzz Face w/ Chorus and Delay (Fazed - this was a factory preset)
3rd Rhythm (2:47): Line 6 Crunch #2 w/ no effects (Rock and Roll)
4th Rhythm (3:05): Marshall JCM800 w/ Delay (Punk)
End (3:33): Marshall Plexi w/ Phaser (Classic Phaser - factory preset)
End Solo (3:33): Line 6 Clean w/ Chorus and Sweep Echo (Harmonic Chorus)

Very nice demo! :D

Some tones are really good. For example, I like very much the "Rock & Roll" and "Punk" tones and usually I don't play in the dirty channel. I like the wah demo, too. Does your model have an expression pedal or is it an "auto-wah"?

The clean tones are great, too. The Blackface sounds like the real a Fender!

Great multi-effects!

Thank you very much!

And have fun!

I've already told my wife that this is what Santa Claus is giving me for Christmas.
Thanks for the demo.
Now I'm even more excited about it.

It's the rock that gives the stream its music . . . and the stream that gives the rock its roll.

It has the expression pedal. It doubles as a volume pedal as well.

Ken, you'll love it. For $200, you really can't beat it.

eewww. I will be the odd man out I guess. half the sounds are so typically mis named. they sound harsh and generic. the ones I dislike the most are the ones where you wrote in parenthesises...factory preset.
the overdrive ones are nice. I can get those with one pedal, my tubescreamer.
these units are not for everyone. I went through several before I dumped them and went to modded pedals. I use three or four.

dogbite,

It's definitely not perfect and I prefer "real" pedals, I use my Boss OD-1 when playing through my amp. And those were the "good" factory presets, I deleted about 50 of them :D
