four weeks with a sprained wrist has driven me mad.
I got out the guitars and came up with this blues number.
my strat is going into the tubescreamer and DI'ed into the computer.
I like the sound.
last month we had slippery streets. I helped unstick a car, but hurt my wrist pushing too hard.
that's a new one. I wear a wrist brace work and sleep. I did take it off to play this stuff.

I was grinning the whole time listening to that,
(except when you did the "ouch" part)
sprinkled with bits of chuckles and laughter.
I like your voice. Very warm and friendly.
Thanks for the song. Hope the wrist heals soon.
God bless

Good song, at least something good came out of your injury! No more pushing cars! :P Get well soon.

it was a ball to grab the guitar and throw this together. the mix needs work. I just had to get this out of my system.
the wrist feels really well when I don't use it. I think, ah, cured. then I will reach for an onion and my hand will spaz out when I grip it.
old guys heal slow. good thing I'm not a horse. they shoot horses don't they?

thanks for the well wishes and listening.
I will be back.

Virtual Void keeps sending my posts to the depths of the GN hell for reasons far beyond me. So for the second time, or practically first, here goes:

Sucks to hear about the incident/accident, but good to hear something like this came out of it. I dont think I heared your voice often but you should use it more. It sounds pleasing in a pleasant way. Good luck with the exposition btw! :D

thanks. the wrist is not doing well. the healing is very slow. I use my hand all the time and it just is not getting the rest it needs. it throbs more than I want. good thing I can still plunk the guitars.
haha. my voice? it needs work, but I am pleased you hear a quality I hoped was somewhere in there.

Haha nice job.

You should really consider doing film narration. You remind me of Morgan Freeman.

Nice guitar playing, too. I cant do that even without a sprained wrist.

One chord is fine.
Two you're pushing it.
Three and you're into jazz.

What a blast, db. I really enjoyed the sense of humour and the playing.
All the best for a full recovery.

Nice job dog, I think the follow-up should be 'The I Ain't Healin Blues"

Seeing that you use your wrist so much it probably will take awhile to heal. When I was in my 20's I sprained my achilles tendon and it took almost two years before the pain went away. I was playing alot of sports at the time so I'm sure that didn't help the process. But when I played baseball or something it didn't hurt that much until about an hour after the game then man did it tighten up and hurt like...

"It's all about stickin it to the man!"
It's a long way to the top if you want to rock n roll!
