Here's 1.40 or so from a blues project. I'm fairly happy with the tone and playing, as usual needs work, comments welcome.

Thanks. This is a Strat through a Mesa Lone Star. A bit of chorus added in mixdown. That's about it.

Very cool. :P

It's the rock that gives the stream its music . . . and the stream that gives the rock its roll.

Very nice sound and playing. What is your backtrack or are you using something like GarageBand?

Thanks. The BT is something passed along to me at another site. Don't know its origin. I wish I was that good with Garageband.

Well it looks like everyone has gones bluesy, the tone on this is killer and the playing really from where blues should come from.

Another cracking track.

Blue is this (new) year's color.

omg, awesome. great tone, great playing - you really start to get into it at the end, and I love that build up.

Sweet.

Many thanks. Nice to hear encouraging words. Use to worry about getting locked in as just a blues player, but as I get older, and I'm now very old indeed, I don't care much. I just do love the blues in all its forms.

There's nothing wrong with the blues but there are very very few people who can play it well. Because blues is uh...."limited" few people are capable of finding a signature that identifies them as an individual. Most end up being clones of (insert name of blues giant here). The odd person will actually be able to play in his own style.

Now I know why they say "playing the guitar is therapeutic".
Blues therapy . . . sounds like a title for . . .

It's the rock that gives the stream its music . . . and the stream that gives the rock its roll.
