I watched a video on youtube last night and set myself up to have a go! I took hold of the Tanglewood, dropped it to D and practiced. Today I recorded a shot. Its not brilliant but it it is fun!!

Yes it is a challenge! And also it doesnt work well in my Fender acoustic ( the pic in my avatar) I got the action set too low for it.
It does work on my nylon strung classical tho!

with a curved fretboard I have a hard time. that is why I enjoy lap steels so much; the strings are half an inch above the fretboard,
it is clear sailing so to speak.
still, getting the bar right over the proper note takes time.
