I was really impressed that you didn't rest any of your pick hand fingers on the pickguard (like I do :roll: ).
And lucky you that you get exposed to The Shadows so early in your playing.
I had heard of them well past their prime; Though well before CD's/Mp3's.
Back in the wax album days, sadly, they were not to be found :(
