Here's a little ditty I recorded the other using my new bass. The percussion/piano is a midi file I put together in GuitarPro, I then overdubbed the bass, then recorded and filmed the nylon string and slide, edited the whole thing in Adobe Premiere. The tune is mine, an old unfinished song that had the title in the lyrics.

Thanks, smokindog.

In fact I never really knew Jeff played slide until YouTube came along. I've never had any of his albums but I always loved what I heard of his playing. Since YouTube he's become my all time favorite player. I just love his quirkiness and that barking tone he gets out of his Strat. He's also a finger player, which I'm partial to, having thrown my own flat picks away decades ago, and I see that when he does play slide, he does so in standard tuning, which is also how I do it ... sometimes drop the E down to D.
