hey all. Ive been informed to post an MP3 I should sign on to soundclick,
I went over there and signed up.
I am unclear on something. do I have to go thru the 'add a band' routine to load up an MP3 I made?
seems like a long ordeal.
what can you tell me to make it all easy.
then I post, here, my sound.

Yah I think you have to add a band (make up a name), then upload. If I remember correctly, it's a one day wait after you put your first song up. After that it's instantaneous.
An alternative is if you have your own server or website where you can upload stuff. You'd put your files in the Public folder (I believe), then use your browser to navigate to the file, copy that address and paste it in a message here.
But the soundclick site is pretty fast file transfer even though there's tons of songs being listened to every moment.
You can skip most of the stuff involved in creating a band, remember you can always answer all the questions and forms later. Just think of a bandname and ignore the rest, shouldn't take much longer then a few minutes. If you're getting stuck feel free to PM me and I'll host it on my soundclick until you've got it all running.

I get it now. it has been an interesting day. Ive learned MP3 and lame, now soundclick.
