I've been working on my arpeggios and strumming lately. Mainly my up strums. I'm still having some issues, but was wondering if anyone could take a listen to this little practice session I recorded and give any tips or advice on what they hear.

This is just the D and G chord picked on the first 4 strings. Nothing fancy, but I've found I get better when I focus on just a few things and work on them until I feel comfortable.

Anyway, any opinions appreciated! Thanks!

I thought I leave some feedback as noone else has yet. But I'm no expert.

To me that sounded pretty fine, no glaring errors.

I supposed the only advice I could give would be play it faster keeping the same quality.

Sounds good, nice tone. I think the next step is playing along with other musicians. Since that can be problematic at 11pm, here is a web sit that has midi bass and drum track to jam with :D have fun---the dog

Sounds fine, but sometimes a bit outta rhythm.

Dog, thanks for the link. Since I recently lost a jam partner, I'm on the hunt for a new one. I really enjoyed playing with someone. Hopefully I'll find someone soon.

Terminator, yeah, rhythm is still an issue I have. In this little ditty, I forgot what I was doing next a few times which threw it off as well (I had just come up with this like 30 minutes prior to recording). Since this sounds song like, I've still been working on it and I'll try to record it again and see if I've improved.

Thanks!

I found that playing to the midi files helped my timing a lot ( I found that site in 1997 , but its got some good songs) --the dog
