You don't like contemporary classical music?
Depends. I like music with a flow, a recognisable melody, interesting but not taxing harmonies, and I like it not to be too full of "clever" sound-effect technicalities.
Leo Brouwer and Carlo Domeniconi - yes. I play Brouwer live.
Stephen Goss - too fussy. His work for Xuefei Yang was probably top notch, but it didn't speak to me.
