Well, Im New, So Here Are A Couple Of Projects Im Working On To Give You An Idea Of Where Im At ;0

First, I Have Been Playing A Long time, But have Never Had Lessons. I Think I May Have Been Able to Be Further Along In My Music Had I Had An Oppurtunity For Study (Or A Forum Like This When i was Younger), But I Also Feel Comfortable With My Skills As An Artist.

I Play Piano, And Have Been Doing More Of It Lately. this Practice Song That I Am Working On, The Ravens Soliloqy , Is Just One Of many I am Trying To Write For The Keys.

My Guitar Is My Trusted Companion. I recorded Elemental Beginnings At A Juncture In My Road.

I Like To try my Hand At Imitating others Style On Occasion. The Song Stains Is An Attempt At Getting A Santana Feel

As For My Recent Guitarwork, What Ive Seen Is fairly good Example ;)

Im really Trying To Focus On Recording More As Of Late...

I Sing As Well, More On That Later....

Well, i Hope You Enjoy Them, As I have A Lot That Are Posted Here ;0

I absolutely love The Ravens Soliloquy! I've always found the piano quite soothing and mesmorizing, and that song embodies everything that I love about the piano. Thank you so much for posting it!

The Stains song was a good imitation of Santana. I didn't dislike the other two, but that kind of music isn't my fortay, so I'll leave them open for someone else to comment on.

I'm not kidding, though! I absolutely loved the Soliloquy!

Jay,

Welcome, I just had a chance to listen to one of the songs What I've seen and it's great.

I'll have to listen to the rest now.

"It's all about stickin it to the man!"
It's a long way to the top if you want to rock n roll!

whitneyzeldow - Thank you For Your Kind Words To My Song. I'm Still Writing That One, But That Is (For The Most part) How The Final Mix Will Turn Out. As For The Other Tracks, Thats The Fantastic Thing About Music... Varying Styles. That Is Why I Try To Focus On Music As A Whole, As Opposed To Finding A Niche ;)

SmokinDog - Glad To Meet You As Well! Thanks For The Good Word. As For Recording, I Use A Jackson Guitwa Piped Through A Zoom Unit And My 500 Watt Marshall, Which Is Routed To My Comp And Recorded Using Sonar 4. My Zoom Recently Died - Only Puts sound Through 1 channel, even in Mono ;( So Im Looking For A New Effects Processor (When I Can Afford ;( )

Cnev - Nils - Glad To Meet You - And Your Right About What Ive Seen, I Was Trying For An Unusual Sound Effect On It. I May Do A Few More Using it ;)

Im Really Glad To Be Here. I Have Already Heard Many Wonderful Tracks Here! You All Just ROCK

Well, I've been offline now for two years until recently- a good divorce can do that to ya it seems. Anyhoo, I'm back to the grind, and although I lost all my equipment to the ex-monster, I'm back with a vengeance with new stuff = A custom Ibanez rg350, a line 6 spider 3 amp, a Zoom gt1.u effects setup and a nice laptop to top off the recording aspects. I need to replace my keyboard yet, but that will wait - I am gonna buy the absoloute best Yamaha workstation I can when the time is right.

here are a few links to some tunes from my new CD, Stasis Red =

Tell Seven is a fun jam

Triad Of Time Is a unique feel rock/pop/metal mix

Stasis Red the title track

Eclipsed a heavy riff based metal/rock/blues thing

Im posting em here fr ya to hear and critique, but also to maybe attract some musicians in the greater Phoenix Arizona area who may want to hook up and form a new band, in the Metal/Progressive Metal/Hard Rock genre for all originals. I need at the very least a drummer.... These Midi drums only go so far. If interested, PM me or post here, I gottttttta Jam. Just got to.
