OK, go easy on me here, this is the first tune I've ever put music to myself. Unlike most of the stuff I write, this one started out with the guitar and chord progression and then one day the lyrics and melody just came to me. It's not quite finished, I'm working on arrangement and I think I am going to add one final verse (written after I recorded it). Oh, and I don't play so well, but I figure, if other beginners have the guts to post their stuff, so do I.
Very nice. It's got a nice folksy sound to it. Also like the sound of your voice. Pleasant. Like to hear some of your other stuff.

I like your voice, it sounds smooth and sexy if you don't mind me saying. I'm hearing a bit of fret buzz on your song though, maybe you could try fretting closer to frets which should help minimize fret buzz.
All in all though it's a good start for a beginner - look forward to hearing your voice again sometime. :D
