Cool stuff tracker. Nice playing, liked the tone, and the effects.

I thought though, that the slides didn't quite fit. I'm talking about the ones that would be on "hailed" and I think "stars" but now I don't really remember.

Other than that, I really liked it.

Thanks for the comments guys! :D

How did you guys like my artificial jets flying over? I thought that was the best part of it. I wanted to have them go “left to right” speaker wise but, I gotta figure that out.

Taso,

I understand what you are saying. I was playing that all different ways yesterday, i.e. vibratos and slides mostly and found that I liked this version. But, after listening to it, I don't like some of the slides.

Was it just those two or were there more slides that you didn't think fit?

I was trying to accentuate what the vocals normally do. I think I know the two you are talking about (if it was just those two).

Thanks,

:D :D :D

Mike

I just listened to it again, and there are 4 in total. I'm not sure, but I feel they are kind of silly sounding.

Aside from those 4 slides, I thought it was great though.

After listening to it a bunch of times I thought the same thing. I'll have to listen to it again. I forget how many slides I did!

Well, I had to give it a quick listen while I was posting. I did four slides total. I guess I should fix that. Funny though, I thought they fit when I was playing it. Listening to it again and again and again......I think your right.

I'll have to re-record it when I get some time.

Thanks for your help, bud!

Hmmm, I think the first slide was OK, but after that it may have been a bit much, over all it was still pretty cool :D --the dog

Dang! I really like the SSB and have my own version, so I wanted to hear yours. Can't get it to play on Windows Media Player.

I dig it!

It would be kinda cool to hear everyones different take on this song. I also have a version, I did of this tune on my computer, somewhere.

I just re-recorded it and replaced the first one with it so, I don't know which one you heard, Shift.

No slides. Just vibratos, my 82' Epi Spirit, DigiTech RP200 and me. :D

Still no one has said anything about my jets flying over!!! That's my favorite part!!!

But, that's not where the jets nomally fly over. It's when, "the rocket's red glare". If I recall correctly.

But, thank you. I've been waiting to hear from somebody about that part.

I haven't been able to get it to play yet. Tried from the office and home, on different networks, with Windows and Mac, different browsers and players, I just get a whirling progress indicator that never goes away with "-3150." Maybe others have problems hearing it, too, and that's why you haven't gotten a lot of response?

I posted it as a MP3. Do you think posting it as a Wave file will help you?

I post in "Guess That Riff" in the Games and Trivia section and I never have any complaints.

If you think it will help you, I will post a Wav file just for you. Do you have the latest download for your WMP?

If you have your own version I would love to hear it as I would like you to hear mine.

Please get back to me.
