Hey everyone, I'm new and this is my very first post.
This is the only real example of my music that I have recorded in a respectable(ish) quality. its an instrumental track consisting of a couple of (largely improvised) guitars tracks, a drum machine and some 'Twilight Zone' samples placed over the top.
if anyone can help me with some critisism or feedback, that would be amazing

Hey E.L.
Welcome to GN :D
I liked it.... Nice groove.
It wasn't Twilight Zone-ish in the musical sense; at least not to me....
Though the 'subject' material reminded me of a couple of actual TZ episodes:
'The Obsolete Man' and 'He's Alive'....
'Obsolete Man' deals with a totalitarian society that insists that God does not exist....
In the end, [the great] Burgess Meredith proves He does.
So, I'm guessing that is where the voice sample comes from....?
My only critisism would be that in some of the voice parts, the volume was a bit loud/harsh (I know; I should talk  ).
Maybe it was the drum crash that went with the initial opening voice part....
Other than that - Really liked it 8)

I like the layering.
one criticism, this feels impatient. I feel the layered parts don't have enough time in the mix. just when I feel a groove things change. just an opinion.
let's hear more. I like this.
Thanks for the feedback, it is infinatly helpful-
noir, i am astounded that you nailed the exact TZ episode that the sampling was taken from- that shows an amazing strength of character without any question, i know exactly what you mean about the crash and will turn them down in the mix,
and dogbite, thanks, and i completely agree- I think that it is a problem that will be resolved naturaly as my skill level grows -
thanks so much again,
love, peace, all praise hodge, lol
