i just finished listening to both of the tracks but i did it backwards, i don't know why but i heard requiem voor cora first and then semi-nothing.
requiem voor cora was really expressive and touching, that is not a stupid subject at all. i loved the fact that it was simple, but not too simple... it's like its stright-forword only until you get into the piece...
now, i finished the requiem and went on to semi-nothing which was very impressive, i really liked that it doesn't stand still for too long, there's always some movment in the background that slowly takes over the mid-stage and finally takes the place of the main theme, only to hear another one creeping in the shadows... really great :D
keep it up, it's amazing.
