I saw the SSG assignment this week. My brain is pretty much drawing a blank for lyrics, but I started playing with Bob's tab, changed a few chords, turned up the distortion, changed the rhythm and added some tremolo picking and ended with this. Sounds like something I've heard before.
It's under SSG43. I'll put lyrics to it as soon as I think of them. If this should go in the SSG board, feel free to move it.
