greetings, i'm new to this forum.
i am using a PXR4 digital recorder. it saves files as mp2. that's not to much of a problem. the big issue is i cannot find an easy and accurate what to get my recordings to a cd. i usually convert them to wav files to burn but the conversion messes up the levels and effects. any suggestions?

I just finished reading the manual. Step 11, I interpreted it as their talking about moving the files while their still in Wav format to an external recorder/computer. Then converting them to mp3. My understanding is that saving them to mp2 is really just a back procedure on your computer, which would allow you to format the card and reuse it. Perhaps someone that has hands on experience with equipment can better advise you.
