Hi there. We are indie mobile devs with full time jobs and in our free time we made a game for iPhone which, we think, helps in learning the guitar fretboard notes.
It’s name is Fretboard Hero. Here’s a little video trailer showing what’s it all about:

The game features:
increasing difficulty (frets and number of notes to choose from increase with score)
the game tracks your reaction times on individual frets
increasing highscore unlocks guitars which changes game visually
online leaderboards enables to compete with friends and share results
For future improvements we plan:
new, ‘reverse’ game mode - guessing the fret location based on given note
new guitar unlocked by sending a tweet about the game
note locations for alternate guitar tuning
So we’re dying to know what do you guys think! Is it useful? How can we improve it? Is there something missing? Any feedback will be great :).
