Ben Rombouts and Rodney Allen Rippy Selected for NNO Event

Lakeview Terrace, CA - Aug. 13, 2010 - Founders of the National Night Out tapped Ben Rombouts and Rodney Allen Rippy to perform at this years NNO event in Lakeview Terrace, California.  The outdoor gathering brought neighbors and neighborhoods together to form coalitions and neighborhood watch groups, and provided the event for neighbors to get to know each other.  

"What makes you feel more neighborly than shaking someone's hand while you listen to some fine music?" asks Rombouts, an active supporter of the organization.  "I was really happy about being able to step onstage with Rodney Allen Rippy, too."  Rippy supported Ben on their tribute song to the military, "21 Days From Home," which they performed at the event.
 
The National Night Out BBQ was held on Tuesday, August 3, 2010 at the All Nations Church, 10000 Foothill Blvd., Lake View Terrace, California. With the advent of budget cuts to police and other emergency responders in California, the coalition hopes to help neighbors can begin to rely on each other to insure local safety.
