This mat have been posted before, but I just stumbled across a great site with tons of blues history, recordings, and lessons.
It's http://www.yearoftheblues.org/
The site was put together in 2003 to celebrate 100 years of The Blues.
Among the things there is a 13 hour radio series, full of interviews and early recordings.

"Don't wanna ride no shootin' star. Just wanna play on the rhythm guitar." Emmylou Harris, "Rhythm Guitar" from "The Ballad of Sally Rose"
Isn't it just?
For me the best part is hearing interviews with some of the "original" blues players, and hearing some of those recordings from the '20s.

Very cool site indeed :D Check out this one also http://juneberry78s.com/sounds/index.htm
You can listen to all kinds of old blues 78's. If you e-mail the host he will give you a pass word to the "Big Vault" that has about 1600 pre-war blues 78's--the dog
Thats a very informative site for blues lovers. I will be visiting that one on a regular basis.
Thanks for the link Kent_eh
Be excellent to each other & party on dudes!
