Pierre Bensusan is a finger-style legend that probably needs no intro, but William Tyler, son of a Nashville song-writer, at 31, is from a new younger generation of players pushing the envelope of finger-style guitar. Tyler has gone in a different direction. Influenced by finger-style
iconoclasts like John Fahey, he picks out Americana songs tinged with
atmospheres more influenced by Brian Eno. He talks about his influences
