The RRR Stompbox Notch Filter pedal from Lonnie Bedell Electronics is a powerful notch filter designed to create up to 30db cubs from 125-540hz for innovative new sounds. It is manufactured in the USA.

A notch filter, also refered to as a band-stop filter, is filter specially designed to cut a small portion of audio spectrum. A specific use for a notch filter would be to remove unwanted 60hz hum from recorded audio. Unlike graphic or parametric equalizers that usually only 12db, the RRR Stompbox cuts deeper, frequently 30db or more at the selected frequency. By varying the width, or 'Q', dramatic sound cuts are possible.

The RRR Stompbox is the guitar pedal adaption of the Room Resonance Remover, a notch filter designed for live sound systems and audiophiles to compensate for the room resonances that boost the low mid frequencies causing an uneven frequency response. It has 1/4" instrument/line level inputs/outputs and models are available powered by AC or (2) 9 volt batteries for portability. It is designed around the 5532ap op amp for extremely low noise.
