I just had a revelation. I have some guitar song books where some songs are made up of chords that I know, but I don't know the song (haven't heard it or just don't remember it). So, if I knew how it went, I might be able to play it.
To solve this, I now just search YouTube to try and find a video of the song. I also found a few learn guitar video lessons like this one for Sweet Home Alabama:

what a great link... thanks so much.... i usually download any tune i'm interested in from itunes or at least listen to a snippet of it to see if i think i might like it before buying it... but youtube is better for free listening...
i watched the video and noticed that this is the "company" that the sweet home alabama video came from... there are six other free videos that you can download from them if you join the site...
i just joined and down loaded the "tears in heaven" video which is a bit hard for me but i'll bank it for later!!!
