Hi,

Has anyone tried these guitar synths or use them on a regular basis? Do you think the sounds are top quality/very realistic? Or too synthetic (fake) sounding? Would you use one of these guitar synths? Any honest knowledgeable opinions would be welcome. Thanks.

I have and use the GR-33. I also have the GR-20.

I'd say the GR-33 has really nice sounds. There are one or two that don't cut it, mostly single string instruments. Getting the bowing right is hard.

The GR-33 I like better because it tracks better.

Hi:

I've had the GR-33 for a year and I love it! True, some sounds are a little off: the saxes. The strings sound good if you use as pads. I really like the flute, trumpet, midi keys, midi piano, and organs. I've had people come up and ask whee the hamonica player was! The jazz scat is fun.
I'd recommend the GR-33.

Hope this helps.
