This should be interesting - Behringer are releasing a small hybrid amp in autumn. It is rated at 15W and has a 12ax7 preamp stage into a solid state amp.
Best of all is that it will retail at around €68 in Europe and $79,99 in the US!
yeah, the AC108, saw it announced a few months ago. And what's even more fun, for $30 more you'll get a gigbag and crap like that, and a no-brand stratocaster. Ofcourse it will be worse then your worst squier I guess, but fun as 'carry around' or 'experiment' guitar.
Behringer rocks :D
Behringer should break down and build an all tube amp for right around that price. I'd bet folks would buy them up faster than than they could build them.

Joe: I dare to bet Behringer will have an all-tube amp released within three years. The past two years they went from simple solidstates to digital modeling to analogue modeling to hybrid amps, and I can see no other next step then going for an all-tube amp next. But I guess not even behringer can make all-tube amps for $60 though. :D
