I have a very good guitar and I am in need of an amp, the fender 15w that came with my first guitar just isn't cutting it.

I play black/thrash and other extreme forms of metal[Death, Grindcore] and want to know the best amp for this sound.

I was looking at a line6 spider II 212 combo but some say it doesn't sound too good..

Others say just to get a fender amp + mt-2 and I should be good...

Help?

My Gear:
Gibson SG, Fender Jazz Bass, Squier Strat
Fender Frontman 15G and 15B( 15w of power, baby! :( Not to mention a sound that will make your ears bleed! m/ )
Jim Dunlop Fins (.67 mm, the best)

If you *only* play that kind of music, check out the Warp7 stuff. It's rather expensive, totally lacks any variation in sound, but gives you a sound you'd probably die for.

Seems pretty good for the sound I want, but I should wait on that and get an amp with some variation..

You reminded me of dumb I am to limit myself like that. Hell, look at my new signature, I am already pretty limited with these amps.

Can you tell me some amps that can play most forms of Metal and also Hard Rock?

I will keep my eye on that amp though for a future purchase, but although I would love to have it, I'll wait.

Thanks a lot!

Check that thing out. Very nice for metal stuff. It also lights up (friggin awesome!).

Its better than the flextone for Metal.

The 147 in the name stands for the sound pressure level at which the inner ear of a human implodes. Its very loud :).

Get earplugs when you buy this baby, just in case :).
