Well, with a similar price range, and raving reviews for both, I can't decide between the two.

Basically, I recently moved into a small apartment, and my SpiderII is too loud, so Im going to trade it in for something smaller, that sounds better.

Im stuck between the EVJ combo, and the Vox AD15VT. Any suggestions?

They're both way too loud to crank up in a small apartment without using an attenuator. The neighbors will call the cops. When I crank up my EVJ combo with my wife home, I can't hear her yelling at me to turn it down. But she gets her message across.

Well, I shouldnt say small apartment, Im at the corner, with only the people above me to worry about....

I usually play my spiderII (75w version) about 1/3 of the way up, which is fairly loud, but noone seems to care.

I also have a RP250, which I mainly use as a volume pedal.

Mainly, my RP250 sounds good through headphones...but sounds like crap through my amp.

The slightly more expensive AD30VT has an output level control in the back, which mens you can play it softly with the tube stage still cranked.
