I've recently been playing with a band, and I've had to play a little louder now to match the drums, but the higher volumehas started some problems with feedback because a I use a takamine acoustic-electric classical with a microphone pickup, I'm also using a Behringer 120w acoustic amp, and I was hoping if anybody knew some feedback tricks for microphone pickups

Couple of questions

What make and model is that pickup?

Also, where is the feedback coming from, your amp or the PA? Are you using floor monitors?

It's coming from my amp, and it's a CB-4BII pickup

You can try a soundhole plug like this.

Those seem like they would work, has anybody here used one?

I don't follow my dreams, I just ask em' where they're going and catch up with them later.

A soundhole plug works pretty well - been a godsend to us on stage more than once.

Playing guitar and never playing for others is like studying medicine and never working in a clinic.
