Anybody out there ever used an Octave pedal with an acoustic guitar?

I was wondering how it would sound.  I already have a chorus pedal, a delay/reverb pedal, compression pedal, eq pedal, and wah.  (Wah sounds cool with an acoustic too! - Try doing an acoustic version of "Closer to Home/I'm Your Captain")

Since I've never tried an octave pedal, I'd thought I'd ask around.

jonnyt. It sounds bad, bro. Real bad. I don't mean 'BAD' as in cool. I mean very Bad.

I ran my Ibanez AEF 18 thru a bunch of effects when I 1st got it. Put it thru a BOSS OC-2. I knew the OC-2 was no-good for chords, but I was just messing around.

Most Octave pedals don't track more than one note at a time, so Chords get all messed up. It's okay if you play any Lead parts on acoustic, tho. Try the intro to Life In The Fast Lane. Sounds great through an octave pedal!

All in all, not something I would buy for AE music. An acoustic thru a Phaser is very interesting! :D
