Can i use a sansamp classic without using an amp to record the guitar directly to the PA ?

Do you recommend this unit for the live shows without using an amp ?

Thanx a lot.. :?: :?:

Welcome to GuitarNoise Risingforce!

I wasn't familiar with the Sansamp Classic, so I looked it up.

You could probably hear many different opinions on this, but there is no reason you cannot go from the Sansamp directly into your PA. Many people are doing this type of thing nowadays. No need to haul heavy amps around.

Others will argue that you get the best tone through a guitar amp and especially guitar amp speakers. Guitar amp speakers are designed especially to distort to a degree where PA speakers are designed to produce the cleanest sound possible.

I would say try it. It will not hurt your PA. However, don't crank your PA to try to get some type of guitar speaker distortion. Your PA has red clip lights to warn you. Stay out of the red. 8)
