Hi all,
I am buying my 11 yr old son a Squire Affinity fat strat for his birthday. He is a beginner and will be taking lessons. To keep initial costs down we are considering borrowing my father's Vantage VB15 Bass amplifier until we can afford an amp.
The Vantage was sold to my father as a keyboard amp. It has a headphone jack, base, treble and midrange controls, volume and presence, and various in/out jacks. Could it be adjusted to sound OK with the strat? (it wouldn't be used in performing or jamming - Just a temporary practice amp until we can afford our own)
Cheers
Greg

Have you considered the Behringer package? You can't beat the price, and it really gets excellent reviews, especially the guitar.

With the money you save, you could get him a tuner. Then he'll be all set.

Myself and my bass player own Behringer gear and it's quality. I would recommend Behringer to anyone.
