I have played a "C" chord. It rang loudly and clearly. I ran a victory lap around the neighborhood. This is very exciting stuff. I am starting on the "G7" now, I will let you know how that goes.

Oh, thanks for the cool forum. I will be spending some serious time here and hope to learn along with and from you guys.

Welcome to Guitar Noise! I know exactly how you feel. Here's hoping your victory laps turn into a qualifying time for the Boston Marathon.

Congratulations!! That C chord can be difficult in the beginning! Pretty soon you'll be playing it (and a lot of others) without even thinking about it! It's a great feeling, isn't it?

I cannot describe in words how good that C sounded.

That is quite a reception and I thank all of you.

The G7 is great too - 'looks' almost like the C so it's just about the same.

Plus it makes you want to get back to that C all over again!

That is a great way to put it. I have the C and G7 now, so I am working on the F now. I can't get my fat fingers to fit. Getting closer though.
