Yamaha F-310 in the post at 52 years old will I struggle to train this old brain to achieve muscle memory?

You'll be surprised how quickly some things fall under the fingers - don't go for stupidly difficult stuff at first

With practice you should be able to make progress. I did when I focused on small bits at a time and got them down before moving on to more complex things.
