Hi everybody,

after lurking around here for a couple of months, I finally registered and would like to say hello to a fantastic community of musicians and guitar fans.

After many many years of trying to learn the guitar properly - and often giving up when the barre chords took too long to come together - I decided early this year to give it one final try - and giving up is not an option this time round.

I am extremely happy to have found this site and have spent quite a bit of time working through the podcasts and beginner songs. And great thanks to David for all his efforts.

G'day to everybody here once again,
Paul

Many thanks for the welcome - forgot to mention, I am based in Sydney, North Shore. Lived in Melbourne for many years and loved it, but work took me to Sydney and kept me there.

I am still trying to find a good guitar teacher, but that's a story for another forum and thread.
