I'm Syme, an 18 year old guy from the Netherlands. I've been playing guitar for a short year now. The last months far too casual (moved to a new city to live on my own and being a student). I had a great teacher, but now I moved I don't have one yet (living on my own is expensive, when I have enough money I can hopefully afford one :)). I found it's difficult to stay really motivated without someone keeping track and having suggestions of what to play and practice.
I've got an Ibanez GRG170DX guitar with a cube 15x and a toneport UX2. When I started I was into rock/metal, but lately it's more jazz and blues.
Anyway, I just found this site, it has some nice lessons and a nice active message board. That's why I've registered :)

Welcome. You know you may be able to find someone that can help you online if you have a webcam. I've seen lessons starting to be offered that way.
