Hello, all. I've been looking for a good forum like this to go to, and I'm glad I stumbled upon this one. Very nice. :D
My name is Kelly. I'm fifteen and have been playing guitar for almost two years now. I've wanted to play ever since hearing Black Dog by Led Zeppelin.
I have two guitars: An AE/28 Applause by Ovation, and An Epiphone Les Paul Classic.
I've just started jamming with my older brother's band, but I wouldn't know if I'm considered a member!
I love all different types of music, but mainly my interests lie in the older stuff, not big on modern material.
I've been snooping around the GN forum for a few days now and finally decided to join last night. Hope to get to know you guys, you all seem very nice.

Zeppelin is a big influence for me too. those licks and ideas creep into my playing all the time.
right now I am playing lap steel slide guitar and dobro.
dobro is typically a bluegrass instrument. everyones eyes get bigger when I blues up the bluegrass with a famil;ar nod to Page's licks.
BTW I started guitar when I was your age. youve picked a great instrument (and a great era of rock too).
