i have been googling, for a while, on the subject of noise because i am obsessed with weird and interesting noises and how to get them on your instrument, mainly guitar. ever since i've listened to Medicine(Brad Laner) i've wanted to tread the seldom known world of noise: white noise and pink noise.
i really haven't found any links worth while: though this site is pretty interesting. if anyone can help me to find any sites or maybe throw some of your own knowlage my way that would be great.
*i am a guitarist from indianapolis who has been playing for over a decade now and is passionate about music; rock. i'm totally in love bands that use different textures, layering of sound, weird noises, sublime fuzziness... e.g. My Bloody Valentine, Medicine, Curve, Lush, Stereolab, Air, Mercury Rev, Verve(storm in heaven), Sonic Youth(of course), Goldfrapp, The Pixies, Massive Attack
any way, if any one can help me that would be great.
nice to meet your aquaintence- BEN
