Hello all.
I've always wanted to play the guitar. When I was in my 20's I didn't have the patience to put into it. In my 30's I didn't have the time. Now that I'm in my 40's, the kids don't require as much constant attention. I decided that I'd like to learn to play.
I don't have my guitar yet and since I'm a notorious over researcher, I ended up here to get as much information as possible before I make my purchase.
Technically it will be a birthday present, but I'll probably get it in the next month or so.
This seems like an awesome forum. I really enjoyed the "what did guitar teach you?" thread. Lots of awesome info.
Don't get hungup on brand names at this point.
Go to every guitar shop and pawn shop inYour area, Sit down with everything they have in Your price range...Buy the one that "speaks" to Ya...
