Hello my name is Jason and I have been playing for 6 months. I had been playing a home-made Paul Greybeal right handed. A buddy of mine gave me his old left handed Johnson and it was like starting from scratch again. Luckily I got 1 now instead of waiting. It's much smoother now lefty.
I've always wanted to play, I played with friends guitar but never had 1 always around. My wife brought 1 home from her grandmothers last October.
I have been playing what I can try and mimic from cds. I listen to jam bands, bluegrass, classic rock. Also seeing what I can do on my own.
