Hey. I'm new here. I'm hopinh that I can get some metal/hardcore kinda lessons. No one locally seems to know that genre of metal. I'm into bands like August Burns Red, All That Remains, As I Lay Dying, War Of Ages, etc etc. I have a Schecter Damien 6 FR, a Dean EVO Special, a Jackson, a Cruzer Crafter, and soon to be a new Schecter Damien Elite Avenger FR guitar and I have a Traynor 30 watt amp and some DigiTech Pedals as well but I will be trading those 3 for a Boss ML-2 Metal Core pedal when I get the new guitar. Anyway, I would really appreciate it if anyone could post some hardcore guitat examples. Also what would be some good metal/hardcore settings for my amp alone? I can't seem to get that good punch for hardcore music. I also like some metalcore like Miss May I. My name is Josh Garcia by the way. I will post pics and a video of the new guitar when I get it. I also play EVERYTHING in standard tuning if anyone wants to know. I sometimes do drop d tuning but thats it for drop tunings.
