Hey there.
I'm Amnesia, 18 years old and from Gloucester!!
Okay, I'm new to Guitarnoise, but not to guitar. I've been playing around 2 and a bit years now, and have progressed quite a lot.
I started playing Acoustic, on a Yamaha APX-7A. That is still my favourite guitar, but I also have an Epiphone Sheraton II and Taylor 514-LTD.
I enjoy playing anything and everything.
I put my guitar down for a few months because I've started photography.
I've realised I enjoy music A LOT more than Photography, but it's good to have a balance between hobbies.
I have just been asked by one of my close friends to accompany her singing (obviously I won't be singing, I'll be playing guitar). That's why I've decided to join this forum, to hopefully get some tips from you guys/girls and be able to progress!
I'm also Grade 6 piano and have a bit of theory background!
I look forward to seeing you all around the forums :)

I'm surprised you could remember.
Nonetheless, welcome to the musical madhouse. There's a lot more to GN than just the forum, we have a whole raft of lessons, from beginner onwards and plenty of songs to learn - enough to keep you going for quite some time.
I started with nothing - and I've still got most of it left.
Did you know that the word "gullible" is not in any dictionary?

Thanks for the warm reply!!
I've joined for the forums, but these lessons look to be a bonus! I'm at work at the moment so don't have enough time to properly browse.
I'm glad I've found this site as its DEFINITELY going to help me with my playing.
Thanks again!

You should take a picture of your guitars...(since you're a photographer).
Thanks for that ivankaramazov.
I do have some photos of my guitar, but this was taken with a 5 year old camera.
You can go to http://www.dan-taylor.co.uk and look at my epiphone in the Gallery links.
Or you can wait until this evening/tomorrow evening until I have got some proper photos taken and I will post a link :)
