Just bought (had it for about a week) an acoustic guitar and found this site, lessons have been really hepful, especially David Hodge! I'm in to Indie and alternative Rock, and I can play a few tunes! I'm 13 in the North of England, I've not had any lessons yet but hopefully I'll start in a bit. A few books and this site has been good to get me going though! :D
Welcome, James!

Hi James, and welcome to GN from another Northener! You're just "down t'road" from me - about 8 miles away, in Newton-le-Willows. There's also Darth Ordinary from Burtonwood on these forums, plus a couple of lads from Manchester and Liverpool. The North-West is definitely well represented!
:D :D :D

Welcome James! Glad to hear you're starting early - don't delay with those lessons.
Cheers,
David

It was them that turned me to drink.
Welcome to GuitarNoise, James! We look forward to seeing you around the forums! :D
