I'm Jerry, new to learning the guitar and the forum. I'm from the UK, well Northern Ireland to be exact, moved here from Kent in England nearly 6 years ago now.
My target, if thats what you can call it, is to learn to play a guitar version of Chris DeBurghs Lady In Red, for March 2012, as that is our Wedding Anniversary. Lady in Red was THE first song that my wife and I danced to, the very first night we met, way back in 1987, so it has become our tune.
Next year we will have been together for 25 years, married for 23, so I would love to be able to play this for her, as a surprise.
Had a quick look around the forum, everyone seems so friendly and helpful, so fingers crossed.
Oh, nearly forgot, I've only been learning for 2 weeks to date, so not that far along, I try to practice for an hour every day, time permitting, so far so good I think, but still a way to go yet.
Looking forward to participating on here, again, as time and other things permit.
